Every World Cup needs a banging World Cup anthem to go with it and long behold, it appears as though the legend that is Will Smith is providing it this year.
Shakira's 'Waka Waka' and Ricky Martin's 'The Cup of Life' were the two big boy tunes for the last two tournaments, and though Jason Derulo has released 'Colors' as one of the anthems, Mr July's upcoming song is the one that has peaked our interest.
As first reported by Vibe, Smith has developed a friendship with Latino artist Nicky Jam, famous for his work with Enrique Iglesias and Daddy Yankee - and it's led to the pair getting in the studio in Budapest to produce the track.
Reggaeton producer DJ Nelson said the song is "so crazy" and believes these types of collaborations are made easier by the power of the internet and specifically social media.
Albanian singer Era Istrefi is also said to be singing with the Fresh Prince star on the record, with Grammy award-winning producer Diplo also helping out in putting it together.

Naturally, with Smith having a track record of absolute bangers such as 'Miami', 'Nod Your Head', 'Summertime', 'Getting Jiggy With It', 'Men In Black' and 'Switch' to name just a few, it's got fans excited.
The release is slated for this Friday, and we really, really hope Carlton is in the music video throwing some serious shapes.
