Emmanuel Adebayor is the most offside player in the history of the Premier League according to the stats.
The Togolese striker might have scored 97 goals in 242 appearances for the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City, Spurs and Crystal Palace but he was also caught offside a staggering 328 times - meaning he was caught offside roughly 1.3 times per game.
Well-travelled Jermain Defoe was also regularly outfoxed by the offside trap, having been flagged on 314 occasions in 496 appearances in the top flight, while Darren Bent averaged an offside call every game after garnering 276 offsides in 276 games.
Similarly, Dimitar Berbatov was caught offside 238 times in his 229 appearances for Spurs, Manchester United and Fulham - with Crystal Palace's Christian Benteke also having difficulty timing his runs - 200 times in fact.
Robin van Persie (198), Gabby Agbonhalor (195), Sergio Aguero (194), Romelu Lukaku (192) and Jamie Vardy (186) complete the top ten after the Leicester City man was flagged offside against Brighton to move ahead of Shane Long.
