The Top 10 Most Overrated Football Managers Of All Time Ranked By Fans

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been branded the most overrated manager in football history in a controversial list voted by fans.

The 49-year-old Spaniard enjoyed trophy-laden managerial spells at both Barcelona and Bayern Munich before continuing that success at City.

Guardiola, who has won over 25 honours as a manager, is widely regarded as one of the best coaches in world football right now.

But on this occasion, fans over at TheTopTens have ranked the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss as the most overrated manager of all time.

Legendary former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger shockingly finished behind Guardiola in the rankings.

The 70-year-old Frenchman, who is the Gunners' longest-serving manager in history, led Arsenal to three Premier League titles during his 22 years at the club.

One of those seasons included Wenger's 'Invincibles' side that went undefeated en route to capturing the league title.

Taking home the third spot in the list is former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, who was often criticised for his lack of silverware as a manager.

The 48-year-old Argentine took Spurs to the League Cup final in 2015 and Champions League final in 2019, but he fell short of capturing trophies on both occasions.

Pochettino's time at Spurs came to an end in 2019 after he was sacked and replaced by Jose Mourinho.

Speaking of Mourinho, the 'Special One' finished behind his Spurs predecessor in the rankings.

Other high-profile managers who made the rankings include Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp.
