Cristiano Ronaldo has urged a striker to choose Juventus over Manchester United in the current transfer window. Raul Jimenez of Wolves has been linked with both clubs for the past year.

Wolves' Raul Jimenez is a wanted man.

With Manchester United and Juventus both fighting over the Mexican striker, Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken up much to the dismay of United fans.

The former Man United man wants Juventus to sign Jimenez this summer according to Gazetta dello Sport.

Jimenez is reportedly 'on his way' to Manchester United after reports in Portugal suggest Wolves have signed the man expected to be the Mexican striker's replacement. Paulinho of SC Braga has been linked to become a Wolves in the current transfer window.

The Mexican striker has continued his excellent form into his second season in England, having signed on a permanent deal from Benfica for £32 million last summer. The 29-year-old has scored 26 goals in 53 appearances this campaign.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to be in the market for a striker to support Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood as United return to the Champions League.

The trio have been in great form since the Premier League restart, but Solskjaer is wary that injuries could derail their efforts to close the gap on the Premier League title.

United have been linked with a plethora of strikers such as Joshua King, Ollie Watkins, Moussa Dembele, and Erling Haaland.
