Since the departure of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona and the subsequent £142 million windfall, reports have circulated claiming that RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita will arrive at Liverpool this month rather than the agreed upon summer departure from the Bundesliga outfit.
The Reds struck a deal for the Guinean midfielder last summer, with the deal stating that Keita would arrive at Anfield in the summer of 2018.
However, with the Merseyside club now even more flush with cash following the Coutinho sale, it was believed a portion of that money could be used to bring forward Keita's move in order to allow Jurgen Klopp's men to more strongly challenge for a top four finish in the Premier League (Keita is cup tied for the Champions League).

The move has already set Liverpool back £48 million after the Reds triggered Keita's release clause, last summer and it was reported that to land him six months early would cost somewhere in the region of another £35 million.
But Leipzig have today taken to social media to confirm that Keita would in fact be going nowhere until 30th June, as originally agreed with Liverpool.

Keita was among the goals yesterday, albeit with the aid of a substantial deflection, to give Leipzig the lead during their 3-1 Bundesliga victory over Schalke.
Will Jurgen Klopp manage to add to his squad before the transfer window closes on 31st January? Liverpool fans, who would you like to see make their way to Anfield this month?
