Daniel James has become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first signing as Manchester United manager and fans will be hoping the speed demon brings the famous 'vroom! commentary with him.

The 21-year-old demonstrated his serious pace to burn for Swansea in their FA Cup fifth round victory over Brentford back in February.

In the 53rd minute, he picked up the ball deep in his own half and skipped past three players like they weren't even there before supplying the finish to notch one the best counter-attacking goals you'll see.

The sheer pace is genuinely on par with the unreal speed Kylian Mbappe regularly produces. Defence to attack in no time.

But it's made even better with the greatest bit of commentary in football history mixed in - the original coming after Venezuela's Jan Carlos Hurtado went on quite the mazy run.

After speculation that the Welshman was on his way to United, a statement on the official website the Red Devils confirmed the news saying: "Manchester United is delighted to announce that it has agreed, in principle, terms with both Swansea City and Daniel James for his transfer to the club.

"Daniel has successfully completed a medical at the Aon Training Complex.

"Further details will be communicated once the international transfer window opens next week."

United are thought to be paying £15 million upfront for the former Shrewsbury Town loanee, with a further £3 million to follow if certain add-ons are met.

The Wales winger will go from pocketing £4,000-a-week to earning a massive £67,000-a-week, according to Daily Mail.
