Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has turned down a number of managerial positions in recent months, according to reports in Norway, including an offer to manage in the Premier League.
The 49-year-old, who was given the job at Old Trafford in December 2018 following the sacking of Jose Mourinho, was relieved of his duties in November following the club's disappointing 4-1 defeat against Watford.
He was then replaced by Ralf Rangnick, who hasn't had much luck improving the club's fortunes since Solskjaer's departure.
It has been a quiet few months for Solskjaer. He still in lives in Manchester to support his daughter, Karna, as she continues to impress for United's women's team.
But now, after a short break from football, the former Cardiff City and Molde manager is now open to returning to management this summer, according to Norwegian outlet VG.

The report goes on to claim that he has been offered the chance of a return on a number of occasions from 'several' different clubs, including a Premier League side.
Since his departure from Old Trafford last year, the only top flight clubs that have sacked managers are Everton, Leeds, Watford and Burnley.
He has been linked with the Burnley job since Sean Dyche's departure last month, and is currently a 33/1 outsider with Bet Victor to be given the role at Turf Moor.
Solskjaer, who was in charge at Manchester United for three years before his sacking, deliver a departing message to everyone associated with the club in an incredibly moving and emotional chat with United's official channel.

He moved to tears when speaking about first-team coach Michael Carrick, and opened up about the chat he had with United's squad at the club's Carrington training base.
"I'm so honoured and privileged to have been trusted to take the club forward, and I really hope that I leave it in a better state than when I came," he said.
"I've made great friends, I've reconnected with some great friends, new staff coming in I've become really good friends with. The other staff that was here when I was there, we're good friends and we have connected and that's what it's about at a club like this. With the fans, the fans have been amazing.
"From day one at Cardiff until the last one now. [They've been] top, and we'll see each other again."
