Amadou Onana's individual highlights against Arsenal are insane, produced a monstrous midfield performance

Amadou Onana delivered a storming outing in the middle of the park.

Amadou Onana starred as Everton stunned Arsenal 1-0 in Sean Dyche's first game in charge, with the midfielder producing a monstrous performance.

Onana delivered a sensational outing in the heart of Everton's midfield as he outperformed Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka as well as Jorginho when he came on for his Arsenal debut.

He played a huge role in his side's 1-0 win at Goodison Park as they recorded three valuable points against the Premier League leaders.

Best moment:

Onana nearly created a goal out of nothing when he pounced on a loose pass by Ben White on the half-way line. He beat Martin Odegaard to the ball and drove up the field as he ate up the ground with big, long strides. Once he got inside the box, he almost picked out Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who failed to convert the chance.

The Belgium international was colossal in midfield and rightfully earned the 'Man of the Match' award following his monstrous display. He showed off both sides of his game as he shone in the engine room of the pitch.

One Twitter user wrote: "Cherish the time we have Amadou Onana with us because he’s destined for better things."

A second tweeted: "Onana is gonna be a brilliant player for us. We need a few more of those type of signings."

A third added: "Onana really owned Partey, Odegaard, Jorginho and Xhaka."

A Liverpool fan said: "Onana would walk right into our midfield and start every game, incredible player."

Another commented: "What a fine footballer. He’s going to be a superstar. Hope Everton can build a team around him."

Overall verdict:

If Everton survive relegation, then Onana would no doubt have had a huge impact on keeping the club in England's top flight. His performance against Arsenal, which pitted himself against Partey and Xhaka, shows he's capable of going up against the best and coming out on top.
