A furious Paul Pogba appeared to lash out at Benjamin Pavard after his France teammate didn’t come to his aid while he was being pressed.
Mikel Oyarzabal fired Spain into the lead in the 66th minute at the San Siro for the Nations League final against France.
However, Karim Benzema pulled France back into the match minutes later with a sensational equaliser before Kylian Mbappe sealed a 2-1 win for his side.

France might have lifted the Nations League trophy, but tensions between Pogba and Pavard once again reignited during the match.
Pogba was pressed while the scoreline was 0-0 and the United superstar was offered little support from France teammates Pavard and Jules Kounde.
The 28-year-old French midfielder was far from impressed with Pavard’s inability to help him out of the tricky situation, which prompted a furious reaction from Pogba.

Footage has since emerged of France manager Didier Deschamps also trying to calm down Pogba from the touchline.
“Can't blame him, Pavard is awful,” one fan said.
Someone else posted: “Pavard is so poor defensively. He allows his marker to escape him easily.”

While a third Twitter user tweeted: “Pavard has that look of someone who wakes up on a football pitch with no idea how he got there.”
And a fourth added: “How does Pavard get minutes anyway? Seems to be a weird egg in the team and he's not a very good player either.”
This isn’t the first time that tensions have flared between Pavard and Pogba on international duty.

According to the French press, Pavard, Pogba and Raphael Varane were involved in a heated spat after France’s shock exit from Euro 2020 in the summer.
Varane, who was forced off in the Spain clash with an injury, reportedly told United teammate Pogba that Pavard doesn’t feel he ‘defends enough.’
Pogba was unhappy with Varane’s comments during the Switzerland defeat and confronted Pavard, who then allegedly insulted him.
France will return to action on 13th November against Kazakhstan in their World Cup qualifying match at the Stade de France.
