Details of Pogba's disciplinary breach emerge with Juventus 'furious' with former Man Utd star

Juventus are “furious” with Paul Pogba

Juventus are “furious” with former Manchester United star Paul Pogba over a disciplinary breach, a new report has claimed.

Pogba ended a topsy-turvy six-year spell at United in the summer to re-sign for Italian giants Juventus.

However, his time in Italy has so far been tainted by injury. The France international has been absent all season with a knee injury, though returned to action at the end of February.

Yet on Sunday, Pogba was again sidelined as Juve beat Sampdoria 4-2, with Massimiliano Allegri revealing that he has an adductor issue that will also keep him out of upcoming games against Freiburg and Inter.

"My idea today was to give [Adrien] Rabiot 60 minutes and Pogba 30, but then he got injured," the Juve boss said to DAZN via Goal.

Allegri added: "This morning Pogba was taking free kicks and felt a twinge in his adductor. He will have tests tomorrow, but will certainly not be there on Thursday or next Sunday, so we’ll see him after the break for international duty.”

However, off the pitch, Pogba has allegedly caused a stir over a disciplinary breach.

Pogba’s ‘disciplinary breach’

According to Tuttosport via the Mail Online, Pogba was demoted from the Juventus squad on the eve of the club’s Europa League tie against Freiburg for a disciplinary issue.

Juventus are said to have asked all of their first-team players to keep a low profile in the hope of finding greater serenity at the business end of the season.

However, the Frenchman allegedly defied the club’s request by arriving late to link up with the squad.

Indeed, the Italian publication claimed that Allegri and his Juventus staff did not appreciate Pogba’s late arrival to a group dinner organised by the Juve boss the night before the Freiburg clash.

Indeed, the club’s decision to dump the France star out of the matchday squad signalled to younger players not to follow the 29-year-old’s lead.

Juventus supporters are allegedly “furious” at the Frenchman’s latest behaviour, having previously berated him for posting pictures of his skiing holiday during the winter break on social media.
