Pep Guardiola was the talk of social media following the news of Manchester City's alleged breaches.

Fans think they know Pep Guardiola's next move if Manchester City are found guilty of breaching financial rules.

Man City have been charged by the Premier League with 'numerous breaches' of financial rules following a four-year investigation.

If they are found guilty, then the Blues could not only lose their Premier League titles but also their esteemed manager.

That's because Guardiola previously claimed he would QUIT his role at the Etihad if club chiefs lied to him over rule breaches.

"I said to our people, 'Tell me' about the suspicions. I looked at them and believed them 100 per cent from day one so I defended the club because of that," he said back in August.

"I did say, 'If you lie to me, the day after I am not here. I will be out and you will not be my friend any more.'

"I like to represent a club that is doing things properly. In the end it's not about winning the Champions League or Premier League, it's about always doing it well, for our people and our fans.

"What CAS [Court of Arbitration for Sport] said meant a lot. It broke all the suspicion.

"I can not forget that nine teams in the Premier League pushed to sack Manchester City from European competitions, I know who they are."

Social media was rife with speculation regarding the future of Guardiola should Man City be found guilty.

And fans online are convinced he'd jump ship to Chelsea, with their fans hoping Todd Boehly can lure him to Stamford Bridge if Man City end up being punished.

One Twitter user wrote: "'Pep to Chelsea' is trending already, bruh we're shameless."

A second tweeted: "Pep Guardiola to Chelsea, who says no??"

A third added: "Pep to Chelsea do it boss."

A fourth said: "IF, and it's a very big IF, Manchester City are punished harshly with points deductions or worse, Chelsea MUST at least TRY to convince Pep Guardiola to join us."

Another commented: "Todd Boehly has money to spend and Pep is a spender. So, Pep to Chelsea will work if both party want it."

Graham Potter is currently at the helm of Chelsea, but he's facing mounting scrutiny following the club's recent results.

If Guardiola left his post at Man City, then it appears Chelsea fans want him to succeed Potter.
