Peter Crouch Joined Kasabian On Stage At Isle Of Wight Festival, He Was Loving Life

Peter Crouch danced wildly with Kasabian in some brilliant footage filmed at the Isle of Wight festival.

Peter Crouch was having the time of his life after joining Kasabian on stage at the Isle of Wight festival.

The former England international is a regular at the annual musical event and has been spotted enjoying himself in the thick of the crowd more than once.

But for Kasabian's set this year, the 41-year-old was part of the Leicester rock band's performance.

The 6ft 7 striker came out for the final song 'Fire' - which peaked at three in the UK singles charts when it was released.

Crouch is good friends with Serge Pizzorno - Kasabian guitarist, vocalist and songwriter - but more importantly the man who chipped David Seaman at Soccer Aid.

And when the chorus dropped, Crouch, in his Essentials hoodie, was absolutely going for it.

Crouch took to Twitter to thank both the band and the festival for allowing him some stage time, writing: "Well that escalated. Thank you @KasabianHQ. Thank you @IsleOfWightFest."

Pizzorno has been a guest on Crouch's podcast before and revealed in 2019 that they were genuinely talking about him appearing on stage.

"Bear in mind that we've talked about this - about Crouchy learning the bass and one day coming on stage," he said.

"But then, have you seen that Petr Cech thing he's done? I saw that and just had a shudder.

"It's like me and Pete going 'yeah it's gonna be amazing' and everyone going 'oh boys!'."

The 41-year-old hosted his own festival, named 'Crouchfest', back in 2019, with 2,800 people packing into The Indigo at The O2.

Liam Gallagher was a special guest and there were performances from Tom Grennan and You Me At Six.

Crouch also did his bit, downing pints and rapping in a gig like no other.
