Fans all say same thing about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang disasterclass vs Man City

Fans all say same thing about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang disasterclass vs Man City

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was subbed on and subbed off in Chelsea's 1-0 defeat to Manchester City.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was scolded by fans after being subbed on and subbed off for Chelsea against Manchester City.

Aubameyang was left on the bench for Chelsea in the 1-0 defeat but ended up being brought on just five minutes into the clash after former City star Raheem Sterling pulled up with a hamstring injury.

Yet he didn't finish the game and was hooked for youngster Omari Hutchinson in the 68th minute not long after City had gone 1-0 up through Riyad Mahrez.

The former Arsenal and Barcelona star had just 14 touches in the game, with only one coming inside the box.

He completed ten passes and did not have a single shot during his outing.

And the word "disasterclass" was used by many to sum up a pretty woeful display from Aubameyang.

One fan wrote: "Aubameyang subbed on, has an absolute disasterclass, and is then subbed off."

Another said: "This Aubameyang disasterclass is going to hit so different."

A third added: ""What a disasterclass by Aubameyang. #CFC need a goal and take him off.

A fourth commented: "Today gives us some indication as to why Aubameyang is the backup striker for a team that doesn't have a striker."

A fifth opined: "How do you spend billions over so many years and end up with Aubameyang & Broja as your two strikers. F**king hell."

Chelsea signed Aubameyang for £10.3 million in the summer, just six months after he had left Arsenal to join Barcelona.

He came in as a replacement for misfiring Romelu Lukaku, who headed back to Inter Milan on loan.

It was hoped that Aubameyang would end the wretched No.9 curse at Chelsea but it's just not happened and he's scored just one goal in the Premier League this term.

City and Chelsea meet again in the FA Cup on Sunday, having already locked horns in the Carabao Cup and league.
