Piers Morgan Tells Arsenal To Sign Cristiano Ronaldo From Man United, He's Deadly Serious

Cristiano Ronaldo to Arsenal...? Piers Morgan wants it.

Piers Morgan has sensationally told Arsenal to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United and he's deadly serious.

Ronaldo starred as Man United beat Norwich City 3-2 in a crucial Premier League victory as the race for top-four hots up.

The Portuguese bagged a hat-trick in Saturday's win at Old Trafford, improving his tally for the season to 21 goals in all competitions.

Speculation surrounding his future continues to mount, with Piers urging the Gunners to lure Ronaldo to the Emirates this summer.

He took to social media to explain why Mikel Arteta's team should move for the 37-year-old forward.

"Arsenal should sign Ronaldo this summer. I’m deadly serious," he tweeted. "That would solve our striker problem and help me move on from Aubameyang. I’ve already sorted @Cristiano a shirt."

Ronaldo, of course, returned to Man United last summer, signing a two-year contract.

But if the Red Devils fail to qualify for the Champions League, then a possible departure could be on the cards.

As for Arsenal, they remain in the battle to secure fourth spot - but have drifted away from the pack having lost three games on the bounce to Crystal Palace, Brighton and Southampton.

The North London side are thought to be in the market for a new striker following the sale of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Barcelona.

Piers, who has previously eyed Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel, wants his team to raid Man United for the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

Meanwhile, speaking after Ronaldo's heroics against Norwich, interim boss Ralf Rangnick addressed the player's future.

"This is in the end not my decision," the German told reporters. "Cristiano has got another year of contract.

"This will be a decision for the new manager to take, together with the board.

"Again, he showed against Tottenham and today's game, that he can be the difference maker, in moments like this, in games like this, and it is no coincidence he has the best goalscoring record of all players in history.

"He showed that again today."
