All 27 Premier League Managers From This Season Ranked In New List, Jurgen Klopp Only Third

A new list which ranks the performance of every Premier League manager this season has been released, and is certain to divide opinion.

The rankings, released by Football365, have assessed the performance of every manager to have taken charge of a top-flight side this season – with former Aston Villa head coach Dean Smith appearing twice on the list following his subsequent appointment at Norwich.

West Ham boss David Moyes has been named as the league’s top manager so far this season, with the Hammers currently fourth and on course for the Champions League.

Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel comes second on the list ahead of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the rankings, former Newcastle boss Steve Bruce has been named the worst performing manager so far this season.

Bruce was sacked by Newcastle in October just 13 days after the Saudi-backed takeover of the club was completed.

Former Tottenham head coach Nuno Espirito Santo is second bottom of the rankings.

The Portuguese was sacked by Spurs in November after just four months in charge and was later replaced by Antonio Conte, who is ninth in the rankings.

Smith, meanwhile, comes both third bottom of the list, as a result of his disappointing start to the season with Villa, and 15^th after overseeing an upturn in form at Norwich.

Aston Villa’s new manager, Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, is eighth following his promising start to life at Villa Park.

In a somewhat bizarre selection, new Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick is 12^th on the list – despite having only been in charge for one Premier League game.

Meanwhile, former Manchester United caretaker manager Michael Carrick is ranked one better than Rangnick in 11th.
