Gary Neville’s spooky Premier League title prediction rings true after the weekend’s dramatic events.
Manchester City did their job on Saturday afternoon as they recorded a convincing 5-1 victory against Luton Town at the Etihad Stadium.
Heading into Sunday’s fixtures, City found themselves top of the pile, two points ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool, who were in action against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa respectively.

Jurgen Klopp’s men were stunned by an Eberechi Eze goal at Anfield as they fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat.
Meanwhile, the Gunners were haunted by former manager Unai Emery as his Villa side came away 2-0 winners thanks to Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins.
On the back of these results, City stay top and are now back in the driving seat for the title.

Back in March, former Manchester United defender Neville made a prediction regarding the Premier League title race, which has now come true.
He said back then: “I genuinely think Liverpool and Arsenal have to think they can beat Manchester City.
“They have to think this way to create this monumental shift in belief that City have they're going to win the league, it's their time of year, they're experienced, they've won three on the bounce.
“I always think when we lost titles, whether it be with Chelsea and [Carlo] Ancelotti, or [Sylvain] Wiltord at Old Trafford, or [Marc] Overmars scoring at Old Trafford, the team that went on to win it came to Old Trafford and won.”
Neville continued: “They didn't just come to Old Trafford and draw and get a point and did OK, they came and shocked us.

“I think that is what Liverpool and Arsenal have to do to take the belief away from this Pep Guardiola team because they'll think it's ominous at this moment in time.”
City managed to grind out a 1-1 draw at Anfield before drawing 0-0 against Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium.
With just six matches left in the season, City will now be the firm favourites to secure a fourth successive Premier League title.
