Sead Kolasinac and Mesut Ozil are reportedly under 24 hour police surveillance amids fears that the attempted robbery on them has them caught up in a 'gang war.'
Last month Kolasinac and Ozil hit the headlines when two armed men attempted to rob them in Ozil's car, with Kolasinac running the would be robbers off.
The two men were left out of the Gunners' squad that beat Newcastle United 1-0 in their opening game of the season on Sunday and according to one report it's because they are under 24 hour surveillance.

The Sun reports that the pair are under 24 hour guard after two men were arrested, one rival gang reportedly threatened the gang the robbers were involved with that no more attacks would be tolerated. A source told the paper, "Word came back from the other gangsters that they would not be intimidated.
"To show they were serious, the thugs issued more threats to the Arsenal players and refused to be cowed.
"It was thought that originally the robbers wanted their watches but now they have been told that they want everything the pair have."
Police are currently investigating the incident after two arrested men were picked up outside of Ozil's house in London when they came to confront him.

The paper also says that Kolasinac's wife has left the country for Germany, where he used to play for Schalke, and doesn't want to return to England.
Speaking about the robbery the source added, "Kolasinac has lots of friends in North London and the players are very popular.
"The attempted robbery was so brazen that it shocked a lot of people."
Ahead of Unai Emery's side opening game of the season the club explained why Ozil and Kolasinac wouldn't be travelling, saying, "The welfare of our players and their families is always a top priority and we have taken this decision following discussion with the players and their representatives."

Without the two in the team the north Londoners were able to kick off their campaign with a 1-0 win over Steve Bruce's Newcastle United.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the only goal of the game in the second half with none of the new signings starting, although Nicolas Pepe, Dani Ceballos and Gabriel Martinelli all came off the bench.
