"Yes..." - Man Utd and Chelsea target hints at potential Arsenal move while confirming transfer plans

Manchester United and Chelsea target Rafael Leao admitted he would like to one day play in the Premier League.

Manchester United and Chelsea target Rafael Leao admitted he would like to one day play in the Premier League and hinted at a future Arsenal move.

Leao’s sharp dribbling skills, startling pace and finishing ability have seen him become one of the most sought-after players in world football.

Indeed last term Leao netted 11 goals and provided a further 11 assists as AC Milan won their 19th Serie A title - their first Scudetto in 11 years.

The 23-year-old’s performances have seen him attract the long-standing interest of Paris Saint-Germain, while Real Madrid, Chelsea and United are also believed to be keen.

Yet whoever acquires the forward will have to pay a sizeable fee, with Leao believed to have a release clause of £132million.

Leao to the Premier League

Reports have claimed Premier League duo Chelsea and United will seek to sign Leao either in January or next summer.

However, the AC Milan star has insisted he will see out his contract at AC Milan, which expires at the end of next season.

When asked if he was keen to play in the Premier League, Leao told RDP Africa, via Metro: “Yes, in the future.

“But now I’m 100 per cent focused on Milan. I’m at a top club and I’m under contract. I also like the city of Milan.”

Leao hints at Arsenal move

The Portugal international, who scored two goals in five World Cup matches in Qatar, also hinted he may be interested in a move to Arsenal in future.

When asked to name a team that had impressed him this season, Leao replied: “I’ve seen a lot of games this year. I like Arsenal, I think they play very well.”
