Rangers Striker Alfredo Morelos Is Enjoying Himself In Seville

Rangers Striker Alfredo Morelos Is Enjoying Himself In Seville

The Rangers forward is unfortunately missing the Europa League final with injury but is soaking up the atmosphere ahead of the match.

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos might be missing the Europa League final on Wednesday night, but he's still managing to enjoy the occasion with fans.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Morelos and Rangers fans will all no doubt be gutted that the striker is injured and unavailable to face Eintracht Frankfurt, in the club's biggest game since they lost the 2008 UEFA Cup final.

Morelos has scored four goals in the Europa League this campaign, contributing with goals in the knockout stage games against Borussia Dortmund and Red Star.

He's been out of action since March and unable to play in Seville, but he's definitely taking the time out to enjoy himself, as he was found enjoying the scenes in Spain amongst the fans.

Travelling to the Spanish city despite not playing is certainly a popular choice with reports of 100,000 Rangers fans descending on the city.

One fan was so desperate to make it to Seville he even created a profile on Tinder in order to try and find somewhere to stay during his visit.

Another fan was pictured in a state of absolute distress after reportedly being kicked off his flight to Faro, Portugal, as he and others made their way via all sorts of roots.

It's not only Rangers fans flooding into Seville, with reportedly more than 50,000 Frankfurt fans also there for the game, having proved their incredible support against Barcelona and West Ham in earlier rounds.

Morelos wasn't the only Rangers figure enjoying being around the fans, with Gers' legendary former striker and manager Ally McCoist getting amongst them on Tuesday night.

"We’ve met thousands of fans, it was brilliant last night, it was brilliant," the BT Sport pundit told talkSPORT.

"We’re getting photographs, we were cuddling the fans, the excitement is absolutely unbelievable.

"It’s magic, the adrenaline. You know when you can just feel it and embrace it, it’s just such a feel good factor."

Now he'll be hoping that he, and Morelos, are celebrating amongst them on Wednesday night.
