Benjamin Mendy has been a breath of fresh air to the Premier League with his off field character but unfortunately we'll be without him for the rest of the season. Though it's sad the tribute to him has caught the attention of lots of fans.
The French full-back became the world's most expensive ever defender when he left Monaco for Manchester City in the summer and has been an instant success both on and off the pitch.
His performances mixed in with his amusing tweets have made him an instant fans' favourite at the Etihad and amongst many neutrals too. Unfortunately the 23 year-old picked up a nasty knee injury in the 5-0 win over Crystal Palace.

That incident is expected to see him miss the rest of the season and City players took to the pitch to warm up for their match against Stoke in shirts with Mendy on the back and got utterly slated for it but at least Mendy was happy:
