Serge Gnabry really bought into his tag as former Arsenal player by scoring four past the Gunners' rivals Spurs, much to the enjoyment of his former teammate Hector Bellerin.

Bayern Munich beat Spurs 7-2 on Tuesday night in the Champions League and Gnabry was in scarily good form as he bagged four second half goals to embarrass Mauricio Pochettino's side.

Arsenal fans were certainly enjoying the performance of their former player and Bellerin took to Twitter to praise the forward:

Most Gunners' fans were taking to social media not to laugh at their rivals or rain plaudits down on Gnabry but to praise former manager Arsene Wenger for selling the 24-year-old.

Whilst the truth might be that the Frenchman, and the fans, might be a little embarrassed and wish the player was still at the Emirates he certainly won't be the most embarrassed of the forward's former managers.

Infamously Tony Pulis, then manager at West Brom, claimed the former Werder Bremen winger wasn't good enough for the Baggies when he was on loan there.

On Tuesday night it was plainly obvious just how good the German international is as his running, both on and off the ball, caused Spurs' defence no end of problems.

Arsenal fans would no doubt have enjoyed the performance a little more if it had come for them but the second best option is it coming against their local rivals.
