Manchester United's goal against Liverpool was pretty fortunate as VAR could easily have ruled it out but one United fan isn't convinced it was ever a foul, pointing out that Divock Origi held the wrong leg in pain.
The game had a decent opening but it really burst into life in the 36th minute when Marcus Rashford put Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side ahead after a good counter attack led to Daniel James' brilliant cross into the box.
Wild celebrations were soon halted as Martin Atkinson called on VAR to check a foul on Origi by Victor Lindelof in the build up. Much to the annoyance of the Reds the foul wasn't deemed obvious enough to overturn the goal.

There were suggestions that Origi made more of the contact, which may have gone in his favour, and one United fan took to social media to suggest the Belgian was trying to oversell the incident and in doing so held the wrong leg in pain.
It wasn't the first time there was controversy over VAR's use in a goal in a Liverpool game in recent time, though the previous one went in the Premier League leader's favour.
Against Leicester on October 5th Jurgen Klopp's side were given a 95th minute penalty after a foul on Sadio Mane.

The incident was checked by VAR and stood despite the Foxes complaining there was minimal contact on the forward and he seemed to go down later than he should.
Leicester fans also pointed out that Mane had also held the 'other' foot to the one contact was made with.
Certainly the foul on Origi looked more clear cut than a possible dive by Mane and Klopp's side can probably feel hard done to on Sunday.

The draw with United ended their perfect start to the season and stopped the European champions from equalling Manchester City's 18 match winning run but the draw left their undefeated start to the season and kept them six points clear of City at the top of the table.
Origi came into the side for the injured Mo Salah and despite the Belgian's heroics in the Champions League semi-final and final last season it's likely the Egyptian would have had more of an impact of the game.
With United playing five at the back last season's league runners up missed the cutting edge and pace of the former Roma forward.
