Schalke captain Simon Terodde gave the best interview of 2022 on Friday night after scoring a 91st minute winner.
Terodde bagged a brace to take his 2. Bundesliga tally to a staggering 27 goals in 28 games this term and move Schalke within touching distance of the title.

He had broken the deadlock in the 71st minute before Dennis Diekmeier pulled Sandhausen in the 83rd minute.
But then Schalke's talisman and leading goalscorer delivered the goods in stoppage time for the Gelsenkirchen outfit.
It was a massive win, as Werder Bremen lost 3-2 to Holstein Kiel in a game where they scored two own goals.
Terodde was on a huge high and completely lost his voice. So when it came around to chatting to Sky Sport Deutschland after the game, the 34-year-old had a quite incredible high-pitched tone.
Guten Morgen! 😂

The interview has gone viral, with Terodde sounding like a mixture of a teenage going through puberty and also someone who had been inhaling helium from balloons.

Terodde and Dirk Schlarmann, the man asking the questions, did very well to get through the interview given the unique circumstances.
Former Hamburg man Terodde is great arguably the best ever player in the history of the German second tier, having been the top scorer in the division for VFL Bochum, VFB Stuttgart and Koln in 2016, 2017 and 2019 respectively.

He's the record goalscorer in the 2. Bundesliga and has been promoted on two occasions.
A third promotion appears to be on the way for the veteran marksman, with Schalke on 59 points - two points clear of Bremen and five clear of Darmstadt with two games left.
Their final two fixtures are against St Pauli and Nurnberg.
