Everton manager Sean Dyche’s X-rated response to a linesman was picked up on a microphone during his side’s 1-0 win over Brentford at Goodison Park on Saturday.
Dyche arrived at Everton in January after the sacking of Frank Lampard, with the Burnley legend tasked with rescuing the Toffees from Premier League relegation.
Everton have picked up momentum since the appointment of Dyche and have been handed a lifeline in their bid to remain in the Premier League.

Dwight McNeil scored inside the first minute against Brentford, with a resilient Everton preventing Thomas Frank’s men from finding an all-important equaliser.
During the 14th minute of the match, Brentford were awarded a questionable throw-in and Dyche was not happy with the decision going against his side.
Dyche could be heard expressing his frustration towards the referee before he turned towards the linesman and dropped an expletive message.

“Linesman, do your f*****g job,” the Everton boss can be heard screaming at the official.
Responding to the footage, which quickly made the rounds on social media, one fan said: “Starting to really like this, fella.”
Another Twitter user wrote: “Haha. [He’s] right. About time we had somebody who’s not shy in fighting our cause.”
“Field mics are humanity’s greatest invention,” a third added.

Someone else posted: “Great that. Been a while since we had some authority on the line.”
And one fan tweeted: “I love Dyche.”
Everton’s win over Brentford moved them out of the Premier League drop zone, with the Toffees sitting in 15th place and two points clear of 18th-place West Ham.

Speaking after his side’s win, Dyche said: “I spoke to the players and media about building a firmer mentality in my way and my thinking of football.
“The players are adapting, working hard, but we are finding that balance in making the defence more resilient and creating more chances.
“There is no lack of effort since I have been here and the crowd play a massive part for us in the end.
“They are on it -- the energy from them helps the players enormously, but it is just another step.

“Wins are to be enjoyed in the Premier League. There are strong signs that the mentality is growing.”
