Sergio Busquets Is An Actual Cheat Code In Spain Training Drill, There's No Point Pressing Him

Sergio Busquets' performance in a two-touch training drill is utterly incredible.

Sergio Busquets proved just why he's arguably the best defensive midfielder of all time with a glorious showing in Spain training.

On Twitter, Spain's official account posted a clip of the Barcelona skipper doing his thing and showing "what a pivot should be".

Busquets is now 33 but the effortless way in which which he plays the game means he is still performing at such an exceptionally high level for club and country.

And in this video, just less than a minute, we see what a special player he is. In the small-sided passing drill, Busquets is pressed by a host of players and pops the ball off with absolute ease.

Before he even receives the ball he's scanning to see where the free man is, receiving on a half-turn and using both feet with equal comfort.

His awareness is so impressive; it's like he has eyes on the back of his head. In a real lesson for all young players who play in a similar position, he never takes more than two touches.

While it's only training, we've seen Busquets do this time and time again against the best teams in the biggest games.

The footage has gone viral and fans have been in awe of the Spaniard's talents:

One can only imagine how frustrating it must be to play against Busquets because he is simply unpressable.

Steven Gerrard put perfectly in February 2018 after seeing Busquets dazzle against Chelsea in the Champions League.

"You can't get near him, you can't get the ball off him, you can't get close," Gerrard said on BT Sport.

"If you come out of your position to press him, he pops it around you - and you can't do it for 90 minutes because you're just using useless energy up.

"He's an absolute nightmare to play against. He didn't break sweat. It almost looks like he's in second gear."
