The forward picked out the top corner from a free-kick, leaving Costa Rica goalkeeper Esteban Alvarado with absolutely no chance.

The Spurs star whipped a delightful strike into the back of the net in the 86th minute to level the friendly game 2-2.

Needless to say, Son's brilliant goal sent social media wild.

One Twitter user wrote: "Son is well and truly back."

A second tweeted: "Way better free kick kicker than Kane."

A third added: "This guy is on another level."

Another commented: "Damn what a strike."

Son has rediscovered his shooting boots, having scored four goals in two games for club and country.

The 30-year-old will return to action for South Korea next Tuesday when they host Cameroon in another friendly match.
