The ex-Arsenal starlet is leaving European football behind him as he ventures to the States, and he bowed out in style.
Carlos Vela, 28, is joining Los Angeles FC following a seven-year stint with Real Sociedad in the La Liga. He's also enjoyed spells at Osasuna and West Brom.
And he marked his final game for the Spanish side in the most perfect way possible.
The Mexican entered the fray with around 10 minutes left of the game. But enough time to make an impact. He bagged a goal with his final touch, securing a 3-1 victory and all-three points.
That's how you say goodbye to European football.
Meanwhile, Real Sociedad climbed up to ninth place in the league table after beating Sevilla 3-1 on Wednesday night.
Naturally, social media was full of admiration for Vela following his heroics.
All the best in California, Carlos.
