The Highest Paid Premier League Strikers Have Been Revealed, Some Earn Way Too Much

Erling Haaland is set to be the Premier League's second best paid striker, after his move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City was made official.

On Monday, Haaland gave his first interview as a City player, and was seen in the shirt for the first time, with the Norwegian revealing that Riyad Mahrez helped convince him to move to the Etihad Stadium.

The former Dortmund forward is expected to hit the ground running considering the incredible scoring rate he's had in his career to date.

At just £52 million, the 21-year-old is a relative steal for the Premier League champions, and is costing a lot less than rivals Liverpool are paying for Darwin Nunez.

However, the two players' wages will certainly put them closer together, when it comes to overall cost, with Haaland set to be the league's second highest earning striker, according to Spotrac.
