Bayern Munich line up ‘Plan B’ as Harry Kane bids rejected by Tottenham Hotspur

Bayern Munich line up ‘Plan B’ as Harry Kane bids rejected by Tottenham Hotspur

Bayern Munich are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane

Bayern Munich have devised a ‘Plan B’ after seeing two offers for Harry Kane rejected by Tottenham Hotspur.

Ever since Spurs’ torrid 22/23 season came to a close, Kane’s future has been the talk of the town.

There have been reports that the England captain would like to leave North London but the club are unwilling to part ways with their main man.

Over the last few weeks, German Bundesliga giants Bayern have registered their interest and have already seen two bids rejected by Spurs.

It is believed that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has valued Kane at £120 million despite having only one year left in his current deal.

As a result, Bayern could be forced to look elsewhere and according to German news outlet Bild, they have already lined up a ‘Plan B’.

The report claimed that the Bavarian club are looking at loaning either Manchester City’s Julian Alvarez or Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic.

It has been reported that the German champions believe a loan striker, Eric Choupo Moting and Mathys Tel could make up their striker options for the 23/24 season.

The reason behind signing a star striker on loan is that they intend to try and lure Kane to Bavaria next summer when his contract with Spurs expires.

Speaking about Kane’s future, new Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou said: “Kane is one of the premier strikers in the world and I want him involved here.

“I just want to introduce myself to Harry, give him my vision, get an understanding from him over what his vision is and try to be successful.”

He added: “My conversation with him will be about how we can make this club successful and there is no doubt that is what he wants as well.”

However, Postecoglou has admitted he has not been given any assurances about his striker’s future.

He said: “No, I haven't had any assurances and I wouldn't expect any assurances. For me, I am trying to concentrate on what I know now and Harry is part of the squad.

“I don't think it is my role to sit there and sort of treat people in a manner because of their circumstances. I am big on treating everyone the same.”
