Some players at Bayern Munich are frustrated with the terms in Kyle Walker's proposed contract.

Kyle Walker's proposed move to Bayern Munich has reportedly caused problems in the Bayern Munich dressing room.

Walker is keen to talk to the German giants about a possible move this summer, with discussions between both sides ongoing.

It is believed Bayern are prepared to offer the 33-year-old a two-year deal with the option of another season.

As for the Blues, they are only talking about a one-year extension to the player's current contract, which has just a year left to run.

The terms in Walker's Bayern contract haven't gone down well among some players at the club.

According to German outlet Bild, Thomas Muller and Manuel Neuer are upset that the England international is getting a favourable contract despite being over the age of 30.

The proposed two-year deal, plus a one-year extension option, goes against Bayern's long-standing rule where older players only give 12-month contracts.

Muller, 33, and Neuer, 37, came up against the rule as both players signed up to 2024.

Walker, however, could be a Bayern player until 2026.

The terms in the Manchester City defender's deal have frustrated the likes of Muller and Neuer as they cannot see why the rules are different for an incoming player in their thirties.

Both Muller and Neuer are long-serving players and senior figures at Bayern. Muller graduated from the club's youth academy and has enjoyed his whole professional career at the Allianz Arena outfit.

Neuer, on the other hand, has been at Bayern since 2011 following his move from Schalke.

Walker, meanwhile, has enjoyed six seasons at the Etihad, making 254 appearances for the club.

He's won five Premier League titles, four League Cups, two FA Cup and the Champions League.
