Liverpool have already found their Mohamed Salah replacement as 'three-man shortlist revealed'

They have already found their Salah replacement.

Liverpool have already found their Mohamed Salah replacement should the Egyptian move to the Saudi Pro League.

It has been widely reported that Salah is a longstanding target for the Saudi Pro League, with Al-Ittihad having allegedly offered the player an enormous wage to move to the burgeoning league.

However, Sky Sports News claimed Liverpool are yet to have received offers for Salah, and have let it be known the forward is not for sale.

Indeed, it appears the only way Salah will leave for Saudi Arabia this summer is if he forces through a late move away from the Merseyside club.

Reds manager Klopp insisted Salah is "one hundred per cent" committed to Liverpool and confirmed on Friday that there had been no approach for the Egypt captain.

"He is essential for us," said Klopp ahead of Sunday's trip to Newcastle. "There is nothing there. If there would be something the answer would be no."

However, reports in Italy claim Liverpool have identified their Salah replacement should the Egyptian push for a dramatic late move.

Tuttosport via Football Italia claim that Liverpool are evaluating a move for Juventus star Federico Chiesa as a contingency plan should Salah depart.

Indeed, as per the publication, Juventus would be open to selling the 25-year-old, who netted in the Bianconeri’s season opener against Udinese.

The 25-year-old would allegedly command a price tag of €60million (£51million).

Moreover, Liverpool are also said to be targeting Borussia Dortmund’s 21-year-old attacker Karim Adeyemi as an alternative to Chiesa.

Furthermore, former Manchester City star Leroy Sane is also said to be on Liverpool’s shortlist as a Salah replacement, with the 27-year-old having netted a brace in Bayern Munich’s opening Bundesliga encounter of the season.

Sane scored 39 times and claimed some 46 assists in his 135 City appearances between 2016 and 2020.

Moreover, in the 2017–18 campaign he was voted PFA Young Player of the Year, becoming the first and thus far only German to win the award, after inspiring City to Premier League and League Cup glory.
