AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma could well be available on the cheap this summer.
The 19-year old has emerged as one of the brightest young talents in world football and has played every minute for the Rossoneri in Serie A this term.
After a long, drawn-out saga over the summer, the Italian eventually put pen to paper on a new deal and became one of the league's highest earners.
His older brother, Antonio, also a goalkeeper, was brought in as a sweetener but you wouldn't expect Donnarumma to be sticking around for much longer, in all honesty.
His relationship with a section of Milan fans has been rather frosty and led to him receiving abuse from his own supporters, while back in December were reports that his agent, Mino Raiola, tried to cancel the contract he signed in July having felt his client was "pressured" into the agreement.
If Raiola is successful, albeit unlikely, that would mean Donnarumma would be able to leave on a free as his previous deal was due to expire this summer.
However, what is more probable, is AC's shotstopper leaving for a dirt-cheap fee.
La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Calcio Mercato, say that there is a clause in his San Siro deal that means he is able to leave for just £35 million in the summer if Milan do not qualify in the Champions League.
A return to form under Gennaro Gattuso sees them occupy sixth place, four points behind fifth placed Lazio and five adrift of cross-city rivals Inter, in fourth.
With 10 games, there is a great danger that Milan miss out on Champions League football yet again and if they do, a slew of elite-level clubs will no doubt be queuing up for Donnarumma's services.
He's been touted as the long-term replacement for his namesake, Buffon, at Juventus, while there's been reported interest from PSG, Real Madrid and Chelsea.
