Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge Odds On To Join Everton

Liverpool to Everton?

Well, the bookies think Daniel Sturridge could be making the short trip from Anfield to Goodison Park once the transfer window reopens in January.

The England striker is reportedly prepared to quit Liverpool to save his World Cup dreams ahead of the competition next summer in Russia.

Jurgen Klopp boasts plenty of attacking options with Roberto Firmino keeping him out of the starting XI. Sturridge has only started four Premier League games this season, scoring two goals in the process.

Following the lack of opportunities at Liverpool, Sturridge is keen for a move away with a transfer to Everton apparently on the cards.

Ladbrokes have priced up a shock move to the blue side of Merseyside at just 6/4.

"The longer Sturridge sits on Liverpool's bench, the less likely he is to be sitting on Southgate's plane to Russia," said Alex Apati of Ladbrokes.

"But with a January move now looking inevitable, the striker might just ruffle a few feathers on his way out of Anfield by moving across the city."

Everton are ahead of fellow top flight sides West Ham and Newcastle who are priced at 7/4 and 7/2, respectively.

Everton are in desperate need of goals following their abysmal start to the league. They've only netted 12 goals this season with the club still on the hunt for a new manager.
