Radja Nainggolan was probably one of the two highest profile names to miss out of his country's World Cup squad but the Belgian isn't wasting his time off sitting around doing nothing, instead he's confirming his move to Inter Milan.
Every four years there's a surprise name or two who somehow miss out on their country's World Cup squad, and probably a few names who shouldn't be at the tournament.
This year there was plenty of indignation and surprise, especially in England, when Germany's squad revealed that Leroy Sane was staying at home and not heading to Russia.
There was slightly less surprise when Belgium didn't include Radja Nainggolan, with Roberto Martinez not being his biggest fan, but as he's an very good player it still came as a bit of a shock.

At least Nainggolan has had the summer off to catch up on his sun tan, get a bit of fishing in, read a good book and sort out his transfer to Inter Milan.
Sky Italia, via Sky Sports, report that the Belgian had his medical at Humanitas hospital in Milan and is now on the verge of a £21 million move to the San Siro.
As well as £21 million Roma are also set to bring in Inter pair Davide Santon and youngster Nicolo Zaniolo as part of the deal, and Inter fans will be hoping that the move won't mirror a previous exchange deal.

In 2001 Inter signed Dražen Brnčić as part of the deal that took Andrea Pirlo to their rivals AC Milan with Brnčić going on to play no games for the Nerazzurri whilst Pirlo was a little more successful.
Speaking about the move for Nainggolan Inter boss Luciano Spalletti, who managed the 30 year old at Roma, said "Nainggolan is the turbo that was missing in our motor."
Inter have returned to the Champions League for next season after beating Lazio on the last day of the Serie A season.

Spalletti's side overcame a 2-1 deficit with goals in the 79th and 81st minute to win 3-2 to overtake Lazio into fourth and qualify for the Champions League for the first time since 2012.
Maybe Nainggolan will be glad he didn't go to the World Cup in the end.
