Swansea City eventually succumbed to Everton's persistence as they sold Gylfi Sigurdsson for a whopping £45 million, and it appears the Welsh club are wasting no time in finding his replacement.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman continues his summer splurge with the addition of the Iceland midfielder who performed heroics for Swansea, last season.
Sigurdsson played in every Premier League outing weighing in with nine goals from midfield in the process helping them remain in the top flight.
But Everton's gain is Swansea's loss. And reports suggest Paul Clement has identified his replacement.

According to the Mirror, Swansea are plotting a bid for West Bromwich Albion's Nacer Chadli.

The Belgium international has reportedly claimed he is ready to move on with Swansea negotiating a transfer with WBA.

The Baggies signed Chadli from Spurs for £15 million with the club holding out for a fee in the region of £20-25 million.

The 28-year-old netted five goals from 31 league games last season following his switch from Spurs.
He initially joined England from Dutch side FC Twente where he spent three seasons at White Hart Lane.
