Three Barcelona players went against their teammates and didn't sign the Burofax against the players wage reduction, as the club try to reduce costs during the Covid-19 crisis.
In March Barca players took a wage cut at the beginning of the pandemic, with football in Spain, as with everywhere else in Europe, being paused for several months.

The club haven't recovered from their financial difficulties since and wanted the players to take another cut, or at least a restructure in their payments and getting paid in smaller installments.
The players have gone against that and signed a Burofax saying they won't be complying, but three players have reacted differently and backed the club.
According to Catalunya Radio, goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Frenkie de Jong and Clement Lenglet all went against signing the Burofax.

The players are reportedly angry at not being consulted over the wages being lowered and the unrest could even lead to players leaving in January.
In accordance with the Workers' Statute, the players could look into being let go from their contracts if their wages are reduced.
The club are already set to lose Lionel Messi next summer for nothing, with his deal set to expire at the end of the season, after he agreed to stay this summer because he couldn't end his contract early.
Wages account for 70% of the club's yearly spending and with less money coming in during Covid-19 it is the best way for the club to get some money back.
That was in part behind the decision to sell several senior players in the summer, with Luis Suarez, Ivan Rakitic, Arthur, Arturo Vidal, Rafinha and Nelson Semedo all allowed to leave the club.

The departures of Suarez, Rakitic and Vidal, who have all been a huge part of recent successes at the Nou Camp, have reportedly saved the club £47 million.
Financial troubles stopped the club from signing all their main targets in the summer, with the Catalan giants missing out on Inter's Lautaro Martinez, Georginio Wijnaldum, Memphis Depay and Eric Garcia.
Ronald Koeman's side lost for the first time on Saturday in a 1-0 loss to Getafe, with rivals Real Madrid also losing to Cadiz on the same day.
