Slaven Bilic broke the news this morning that star midfielder Dimitri Payet has refused to play for the club while asking for his transfer. And they've now rejected the first bid since his stance.
The Croatian boss confirmed that the Frenchman no longer wants to play for the Hammers and won't be involved this weekend when they host Crystal Palace.
And according to Sky Sports, West Ham have turned down a measly £19.1 million offer for Payet from his former side Marseille. West Ham value Payet way more than just £20 million, with the reported contract also including a bonus of £2.5 million if they qualified for the Champions League.

Bilic is hoping he can continue plying his trade with the Premier League side until the end of the season having agreed to sell him in the summer, though that all changed this morning.
Via reports, Payet will "never kick a ball again for West Ham" if he does not get his transfer. The 29-year-old fueled rumours of a move away after responding positively to reports linking him with a return to Marseille.

West Ham snapped up Payet from the French outfit in 2015 for £10.7 million, subsequently producing heroics on the pitch not to mention continuing that scintillating form into the European Championships.
Following that season and summer with France, Payet was handed a brand-spanking new lucrative contract worth up to £125,000-a-week in February.
Payet put pen-to-paper on a five year contract but is unlikely to honour such deal as a January move beckons.
