Trent Alexander-Arnold's First Time, Outside Of The Boot Pass To Luis Diaz Genuinely Needs Explaining

What a pass.

Trent Alexander-Arnold produced a moment of magic during the FA Cup final as he picked out Luis Diaz with a sensational pass.

The Liverpool star wasted no time in influencing the play, piercing an incredible through ball to Diaz in the eighth minute.

Naby Keita squared the ball to Alexander-Arnold who hit a first time, outside of the boot pass into Diaz's path.

The pass opened up Chelsea's defence, with the Colombian failing to complete the move with a goal.

His effort was saved by Edouard Mendy who kept him out with a brilliant save with his legs.

Alexander-Arnold's outrageous pass sent social media wild.

One Twitter user wrote: "Unbelievable pass from Trent."

A second tweeted: "Trent turning into Modric for a second with that outside of the boot pass there."

A third added: "That Trent pass would’ve been one of the greatest assists of all time."

At the time of writing, Liverpool vs. Chelsea remains goalless.
