Trent Alexander-Arnold Spotted Laughing At Jordan Henderson's Free-Kick Vs Newcastle

Trent Alexander-Arnold's reaction to Jordan Henderson's free-kick against Newcastle was captured on camera.

Trent Alexander-Arnold was in stitches after seeing Jordan Henderson's awful free-kick attempt for Liverpool against Newcastle.

Alexander-Arnold, along with Mo Salah and Fabinho, was rested for the game at St James' Park.

That meant that captain Henderson assumed free-kick duties in the absence of Liverpool's regular taker.

Liverpool got one in a dangerous position in the first half and Henderson, James Milner and Andy Robertson all gathered around.

The skipper stepped up and hit a set-piece way off target. It went wide of the mark and into the Newcastle fans in the stand behind the goal.

The camera panned to Alexander-Arnold, a man who has scored a number of set-piece stunners for the Reds, and he couldn't help but be in hysterics.

Alexander-Arnold was having a good old laugh with Liverpool second choice goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher on the bench, leaning over to watch a replay to see how bad it was.

Liverpool went 1-0 up in the first half through Naby Keita, who latched on to a Diogo Jota pass and displayed remarkable composure inside the area before slotting home.

There was a suspicion of a foul from Milner on Fabian Schar in the build-up but replays showed that the experienced midfielder had won the ball first.

Henderson, who was loudly booed by Newcastle supporters due to his Sunderland connection, was replaced by Fabinho in the second half.
