Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba have been urged to leave Old Trafford as they are both visibly ‘unhappy’ at Manchester United, according to Emmanuel Petit.
Pogba’s current deal will expire at the end of the season and United have currently failed to convince the 28-year-old midfielder to renew his contract.
The 2018 World Cup winner, who is sidelined due to a hamstring injury, has attracted interest from Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.

Martial, who is under contract until 2024, has informed United interim manager Ralf Rangnick about his desire to leave the club and could exit Old Trafford in January.
The 26-year-old wantaway United striker has been linked with Newcastle, Tottenham, Barcelona, Sevilla and Juventus.
Martial, who was signed from Monaco in 2015, has been on the fringe of the United squad and struggled to secure regular first-team football under Rangnick.

It has been reported that United would consider a loan deal for the France international so long as his full salary is covered and a loan fee is put forward.

Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Petit has claimed a “link is broken” between Pogba and United and it is “obvious” the Frenchman wants to leave Old Trafford.
“I believe the link is broken between Paul Pogba and Manchester United,” he told bookmakers.com.
“You can see in his body language that he is not happy, it is obvious.
“You don’t have to be an expert to understand that. In the last few years, he has been hit by so many injuries and I just believe it is time for him to leave the club.
“His future is just not at Manchester United. They also get no benefit out of a player that is clearly not motivated anymore either. Which means they need to find the best solution for both of them.”

Petit believes that Martial, much like Pogba, is “not happy” at United and should not return to a club in France.
Instead, the 1998 World Cup winner urged Martial to make up his mind “very quickly” on his future and feels that he still belongs in the Premier League.
“I understand that Anthony represents a value for the club, but he is not happy there,” Petit added.

“He shouldn’t come back to France, though. When he left Monaco so young, to join one of the biggest clubs in the world and you spend seven seasons there, it’s not all for returning to France straight afterwards.

“If I was Martial, I would make my mind up very quickly. There are links to Spanish clubs, he could go there. But I still believe he has a future in the Premier League.”
United are seventh in the Premier League table and are two points within the top four.
The Red Devils will host West Ham at Old Trafford on Saturday, with kick-off slated for 3pm UK time.
