Victoria Beckham followed only one person on TikTok momentarily and fans were completely confused

"Why am I the only one Victoria Beckham is following on TikTok?" It's not the person who you'd expect Victoria Beckham to follow on TikTok.

Spice Girls star Victoria Beckham left football fans confused after her TikTok account followed only one person -- and it was NOT her husband, David Beckham.

Victoria has a whopping 830k followers on the popular Gen Z-driven social media platform, with Manchester United legend Beckham boasting 1.8m followers to date.

The 48-year-old mum-of-four doesn’t follow her husband on TikTok, but her account followed one person momentarily, which left said person bemused by her decision.

Morecambe right-back Ryan McLaughlin took to Twitter and shared screenshots of Victoria’s TikTok account following his personal account.

A puzzled McLaughlin hilariously suggested that Victoria ‘clearly mixed up’ him with the former Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain winger.

“Why am I the only one Victoria Beckham is following on TikTok,” he tweeted to his 79.7k Twitter followers.

“For anyone saying I don’t look like David Beckham, Victoria clearly got us mixed up so read it and weep.”

Victoria’s decision to follow McLaughlin of all people left fans, unsurprisingly, in stitches as they flocked to the Northern Ireland player’s tweet.

“This is a HUGE flex,” one Twitter user wrote.

While another tweeted: “Would the real David Beckham please stand up.”

Another posted: “This has made my night.”

The Specsavers Twitter account added: “Think Posh needs to give us a call.”

Victoria’s TikTok account has since been updated and McLaughlin has been unfollowed, with the Spice Girls star once again following nobody.

Victoria has previously spoken out about her concerns over social media and doesn’t want to see her 11-year-old daughter, Harper Seven, body-shamed by online trolls.

Speaking to Vogue Australia back in July, she said: “Harper isn’t on social media, so we don’t have to worry about [body-shaming] just yet.

“But seeing how cruel people can be, yes, it really does [concern me].”

Victoria added: “She’s at that age where her body is going to start changing, but it’s about making sure that we communicate a lot as a family and she surrounds herself with nice friends.

“But it is quite terrifying, I can’t lie.”
