West Ham Striker Michail Antonio Perfect Response After Eintracht Frankfurt Pitch Invader Mocked Him

Michail Antonio was mocked by a passing Eintracht Frankfurt pitch invader on Thursday night, and the West Ham striker had an excellent response.

It was heartbreak for West Ham in midweek, as their excellent Europa League campaign came to an end in the semi final stage, losing in Germany.

David Moyes side already had a hell of a task on their hands, having lost the first leg 2-1 at home the previous week and playing in front of a boisterous home support at Frankfurt in the second leg.

Things weren't helped by Aaron Creswell's 19th minute sending off, with Moyes later also getting his marching orders, and they went on to lose 1-0 on the night.

After the match some Frankfurt fans managed to get on the pitch to celebrate their first European final since 1980 and one even had an exchange with Hammers' striker Antonio.

The footage shows the fan screaming "what's up bro, what's wrong bro," with the Jamaica forward replying "money's still good though."

It wasn't the only post match interaction of note after full time though, with Declan Rice causing a stir with his comments about the referee.

Jesus Gil Manzano was central to the game, with the official making the decision to send Cresswell off after checking the VAR monitor, when originally giving a yellow card.

In truth it almost certainly was the correct decision, with Cresswell repeating what he did in the quarter final against Lyon, by tugging the forward down when the last defender.

But Rice wasn't happy at all, with footage showing the midfielder calling the ref 'corrupt.' The 23-year-old was heard saying, "Ref it's so poor, all night it's so bad!

"How can you be that bad? Honestly, probably been f**king paid. F**king corruption."

The loss means that Moyes' side missed out on what would have been an all British tie in the final in Seville, after Rangers upset RB Leipzig to book their place against Frankfurt.

As well as ending their chances of winning silverware, defeat also put paid to their dream of playing in the Champions League next season.

The club had been battling with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United for the top four but they now can't finish in the final qualifying position.
