Wilfried Zaha offered £10 million a season to quit Crystal Palace this summer

Wilfried Zaha offered £10 million a season to quit Crystal Palace this summer

This could be an offer too tempting to refuse.

Wilfried Zaha has been offered a whopping £10 million per-season deal to leave Crystal Palace this summer, according to reports.

There is a growing sense of uncertainty surrounding Zaha's future at Selhurst Park, with the 30-year-old's contract due to expire at the end of June.

He is yet to pen fresh terms, despite reports claiming he had been offered a £200,000 per-week deal to stay at the south London club.

With his future firmly in the balance, it is thought that Palace boss Roy Hodgson is waiting on Zaha's decision to determine whether to enter the transfer market and find a replacement.

While many think the Ivory Coast international has already played his last game for the club, after picking up a hamstring injury against Bournemouth which will see him miss the final day of the Premier League.

He has been heavily rumoured with a move to Arsenal this summer, as Mikel Arteta seeks to add a winger to his ranks in preparation for a busy Champions League schedule next season.

However, rumours of an offer from Qatari side Al Sadd could be too tempting to refuse.

According to The Sun, Al Saad will offer Zaha £10 million a year to sign for them, with the super-rich club prepared to use huge financial incentives to lure him to the Middle East.

Only time will tell whether Zaha will pen fresh terms at Palace or move onto pastures new, but few can dispute his remarkable contributions for the Eagles.

He has scored more than 90 goals in 458 appearances across his Palace career, becoming an an all-time club legend.

Former Newcastle and Crystal Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye, who played with Zaha for three seasons at Selhurst Park, "hopes" he will stay at the club.

However, he admitted that only Zaha "knows" what is next.

Speaking to LondonWorld, Cabaye waxed lyrical about the winger, saying: “Wilf is a funny guy. He is a faithful guy too, he has values and funny also.

“Sometimes he moans about small things but he always wants to win and always wants to create something on the field, he’s the best.

“He always wants to be better and better and what he’s done for Palace in his career is unbelievable and he deserves everything he’s had, I don't know what is going to happen for him next season but I hope that he will stay at Palace but only him knows this.”
