Piers Morgan hits out at Lionel Messi AGAIN, says he should stop Martinez from 'humiliating' Mbappe

Argentina players are celebrating their World Cup victory in Buenos Aires

Fans have been asking Lionel Messi to speak out after his Paris Saint Germain teammate Kylian Mbappe was trolled during Argentina’s victory parade.

Argentina and France played out a tense final on Sunday at the Lusail Stadium. The South American champions were cruising to victory after securing a 2-0 half-time lead.

However, Mbappe singlehandedly dragged his side back into the match in the last 10 minutes.

After 120 minutes of captivating action, the match ended 3-3 and a penalty shootout was needed to decide the winner.

Argentina got their hands on the trophy after winning 4-2.

Fans are delighted for Messi that he has finally won the trophy that has been eluding him throughout his stellar career.

However, some fans are not happy that he hasn’t spoken out about some of Argentina’s antics during their celebration party.

Goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has been making headlines after he appeared to ask for a moment’s silence for Mbappe as he and his teammates celebrated in the changing room.

During their victory parade in Buenos Aires, Martinez was spotted dancing whilst holding a baby toy that had Mbappe’s face on it. Messi was stood next to Martinez but did not say or do anything, which annoyed some fans.

One said: “Martinez with a doll of Mbappe and Messi couldn’t tell him to stop the act?”

Another tweeted: “Messi has no respect, a real leader would tell Martinez to stop acting childish especially since Mbappe is HIS TEAMMATE.”

A third fan added: “The weirdest thing about this, is that Messi doesn’t say anything about it. Mbappe is your teammate Messi, maybe you should tell Martinez not to disrespect him like that.”

Someone else wrote: “Feel Messi should really have told Martinez to stop trolling his club teammate.”

Meanwhile, Mbappe has been spotted returning to training with PSG after his World Cup disappointment. It is currently not confirmed when Messi will return to the French club after his success in Qatar.
