Marcus Rashford scored a wonderful free-kick as England take the lead against Wales in the World Cup Group B clash.
In the first 15 minutes of the much-anticipated clash, Rashford squandered a huge chance to put England ahead after being put through one on one against the keeper by Harry Kane. However, Wales goalkeeper Danny Ward did well to prevent the Manchester United forward from finding the back of the net.
Page’s side never managed to lay a glove on England as they were pegged back for most of the first half which ended 0-0.

five minutes into the second half, the Three Lions won a free kick on the edge of the box after Phil Foden was fouled.
United man Rashford stepped up and arrowed the shot into the top corner, leaving Wales goalkeeper Danny Ward unmoved.

Just two minutes later, England doubled their lead as Foden finished off a fine move to make it 2-0.
Southgate's team are cruising as Wales looked shellshocked. With a victory, England will secure a place in the last 16 as winners of Group B and will face Senegal on Sunday for a place in the quarter-finals.
