Blake Lively jokes with Wrexham fan that girlfriend should dump him

Blake Lively jokes with Wrexham fan that girlfriend should dump him

Lively is married to the Wrexham co-owner, Ryan Reynolds, and she was enjoying some jokes with the fans of the club.

Blake Lively joined in the kind of hijinx husband Ryan Reynolds would be expected to have with Wrexham fans, by telling one supporter's girlfriend to dump him.

The National League leaders have understandably had a lot of publicity since Hollywood stars Reynolds and Rob Mcelhenney took over the club in November 2020.

There's a Disney + documentary about their ownership and even famous pals dropping by, with Will Ferrell recently taking in a game at the Racecourse Ground, which definitely wouldn't have happened in the past.

Unsurprisingly, Reynolds and Mcelhenney have become rather popular in the Welsh town, and will soon play for the club, and Lively has now got involved.

During Saturday's win over York City, the Gossip Girl star spoke to some of the fans and shared hilarious joke with one fan when asked to send a message to his girlfriend, as you can see in the video below.

Her husband recently left the BBC studio in hysterics as he joined them for an interview ahead of the team's FA Cup game with Sheffield United.

It was an instant classic back in January, that saw the Championship grab an injury time equaliser to force a replay back at their home ground.

Reynolds was spotted going through all the emotions during the game, with an ESPN video capturing the highlights of his highs and lows.

Lively, who famously shares a brilliant humour with her other half, responded by joking, "I bought ESPN+ today just to watch my husband experience crippling anxiety live. Worth it."

She will have the perfect opportunity to mock the Deadpool star later in the year, when he steps on the football field to represent his club.

Reynolds and Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Mcelhenny will play for Wrexham in a seven-a-side competition in America in the summer.

It's not the only huge date that fans of the non-league side will have their eyes on this summer, as they're due to play Manchester United in a pre-season friendly.

The game was announced on Monday night with a perfect piece of acting by Sir Alex Ferguson, who put the two actors to shame.

The legendary Scotsman could be reunited with one of his former players if he goes to the US to watch the game, after Ben Foster's recent debut for Wrexham.
