Youri Tielemans just scored an absolute banger, everyone think it's Goal of the Season

Youri Tielemans, take a bow.

Youri Tielemans may have scored Goal of the Season to give Leicester City the lead against Everton this evening.

The Foxes travelled to Goodison Park on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City last weekend, but it was a spirited performance from Brendan Rodgers' side.

Leicester started on the front foot despite being the away side and they managed to register 15 shots in the half. Everton have

been solid defensively this season, weathering the Leicester storm.

That is, until Tielemans stepped up with something truly sensational.

Harvey Barnes cut the ball back for Patson Daka, who saw his shot blocked by James Tarkowski. Conor Coady attempted to clear his lines, but a ricochet bounced perfectly for James Maddison.

He laid the ball off to Tielemans outside the box, with the Belgium international taking a touch with his knee before whipping a shot into the top left corner.

Jordan Pickford was nowhere near with his dive as the ball cannoned in off the crossbar.

The strike was so fierce, even Barnes was left gobsmacked in the box.

It's Tielemans' third of the campaign, with his efforts against Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers just as incredible.

Fans on social media have reacted to the strike and they think the 25-year-old could have his own personal Goal of the Season award.

One person commented: "Geezer finds these easier to score than tap-ins."

Another said: "This guy is gonna get a big move soon."

A third tweeted: "Absolutely filthy."

While someone put: "He's just unbelievable."

Tielemans' contract with Leicester is set to expire in the summer and he was linked with a summer transfer to Arsenal.

He opted to remain at the King Power, however, and back in September quashed any talks of an exit.

"I'm not going to speak too much about my contract situation at the moment," he told Sky Sports. "I didn't leave Leicester in the summer as I always said the project had to be the right one.

"Just because things are getting worse now at Leicester doesn't mean I should regret [staying]."
