There are five stacked cards to choose from on Monday afternoon
There are five stacked cards to choose from on Monday afternoon

With five stacked cards to choose from, there's a mix of jumps, flat and all-weather racing to satisfy all tastes - with Monday's racing kicking off from 1pm at Carlisle and finishing at Windsor at 8.20pm.

Last week, four out of five tipped naps hacked up, including two 5/1 shots at York's Dante Festival meeting.

Monday's nap is improving with experience and will love today's juice in the ground following rain overnight.

NAP (best bet)

Windsor 7.20

Tip: Aplomb 6/4

Aplomb ran on strongly at Newbury on return on debut for this yard at Newbury last week, just failing to get up.

The recent rain certainly won't cause too many problems for the five-year-old, so it's no surprise to see him figure prominently in the betting.

Ryan Moore is booked to ride Jane Chapple-Hyam's charge this evening and everything points towards another big run.

Next best

Redcar 1.20

Tip: Mutawaarid 2/1

This looks a good chance on paper for Mutawaarid - a Dawn Approach gelding - to make the breakthrough.

Ed Dunlop's promising three-year-old beat all bar a promising colt of Roger Varian's when second on debut at Wolverhampton and if he improves for that initial experience, he should have enough class to take this one.

Outsider

Leicester 5.05

Tip: Strozzi 5/1

The Andrew Balding-trained Strozzi looks a newcomer to keep a close eye on.

Andrew Balding's two-year-old debutant looks a likely type under Tom Marquand, who's two out of eight for the yard.

One to keep a close eye on in the betting.
