We are set for an explosive day of racing on the second day of the Punchestown Festival - with the Gold Cup as the feature race of the day.

The Punchestown Festival provides five golden days of quality action - featuring 40 races, including 12 Grade 1s - and attracts many of the biggest names from Ireland and Britain.

The only pity is that there are no spectators there to witness them as the roof may have come off at the Kildare track.

Cheltenham Festival Gold Cup heroin Minella Indo misses today's feature with a bruised foot, leaving Al Boum Photo at the top of the market ahead of English raiser Clan Des Obeaux.

But can Kemboy land the spoils and beat Al Boum Photo just as he did here in 2019?

Throw the battle of stablemates Sir Gerhard and Kilcruit into the mix as well and it sets up an eagerly anticipated afternoon where some lofty reputations will crumble, while others will ascend to new heights.
