Andrew Tate broke UFC middleweight's rib with brutal kick that knocked him down

Andrew Tate sparred with UFC middleweight Luke Barnatt and ended up breaking his rib.

Andrew Tate once reportedly broke a UFC middleweight's ribs during a sparring session, with the footage capturing the deadly blow that did the damage.

Controversial internet personality Tate was a professional kickboxer who had a 43-9 record. He also competed in MMA - one amateur bout and one professional contest in 2010.

'King Cobra' won both fights, which were in the Ultimate Warrior Challenge promotion. He beat Luke Barnatt in a three rounder in March 2010 via unanimous decision and years later, would end up sparring him in training.

The two put the gloves and kick pads on and looked to sharpen their tools with kicks and punches.

It was fairly me and not with maximum intensity but then towards the end, Tate caught Barnatt with a savage side-kick to the body that sent him crashing to the canvas.

You hear the impact of the strike and viewers praised the quality of the kick on YouTube.

One wrote: "He really KOd him, one of the most vicious KOs I´ve ever seen."

Another said: "That sidekick was awesome, and it can break ribs."

A third added: "Tate actually has really good fight instincts....his pressing... awareness...and timing is pretty impressive."

Although he did get back up to continue slugging it out, it's said that Barnatt went to the doctor and he was informed he had a cracked rib.

Barnatt was a member of the Ultimate Fighter series where Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen were captains. He won his first three fights inside the Octagon but then suffered a trio of consecutive losses and was subsequently released.

His most recent MMA fight was in December 2020 when he was knocked out by Evgeniy Egemberdiev in Moscow, Russia.

Tate, meanwhile, won both the ISKA Full Contact Cruiserweight and Light Heavyweight championships, has previously called out YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.

Recently, Paul gave his blessing for his brother Logan, who fought Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout, to take on the 35-year-old.

Despite Tate offering $3 million for a bout last year, 'The Problem Child' did say he doesn't expect a fight to ever happen.
